The next internet wave

From slow loading text based sites on 56k dial up to today's streaming online TV, through the dotcom years to web 2.0, the internet has been steadily changing, shifting to suit the needs and demands of the huge portion of the worlds population who use it.

And it's about to change again.

The internet as we know it is ending, and from that change will arise significant opportunities for businesses of all sizes. In fact this could sweep aside established business operation.

In this new series we travel the world to learn what the internet experts are seeing. In London we heard from Google senior executives Nikesh Arora, Vice President of European Operations, and Roberto Solimene, European Enterprise Director, and also from Rajen Sheth, Senior Product Manager for Google Apps.

We also met with with Stefan Oberg, Head of Telecoms for Skype and Ben Mareschal Director at Lewis and Hickey.

We then travel to the industry's biggest annual event, Hosting Con, held this year in Chicago, USA.
